Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those queries. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services may create routine logs, such as an IP address, browser type, page request, and timestamp. We use aggregated technical information to operate, secure, and understand use of the service. Basic analytics or advertising measurement may use cookies or similar tools.
How We Use Information
Limited information is used to keep the service functioning, respond to messages, diagnose faults, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell visitor lists or construct profiles of individual visitors.
External Services
Links lead to Ottawa County, Michigan, library, archive, and third-party search services. Their own terms and privacy notices govern information submitted on those destinations. Sponsored search results are provided by a separate company and are subject to that provider's practices.
Data Recipients
Hosting and technical-support providers may process routine logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners can receive the automatic data described above. Information may also be disclosed when a valid legal process requires it.
Safeguards and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection. Technical logs are held only for as long as their operational purpose requires. Because the service has no visitor accounts, it does not hold visitor passwords or member profiles.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from someone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor supplied information, and we will address the request.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where a visitor lives, privacy rights may include access, correction, or deletion of personal data a service retains. Contact us through the Contact page to request review of information in the contact mailbox or available logs. Michigan research for this directory did not identify a verified enacted comprehensive consumer-privacy statute that controls a universal deletion request. Public records held by Ottawa County, Michigan, or municipal custodians remain under those custodians' own laws and procedures, including the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 et seq.
Policy Revisions
Any revision will appear on this page. Continued use after publication of a revised policy indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
